The Rothschild Archive holds a number of works of art in its collection which are not Rothschild portraits. These works have largely been acquired by the Archive through gift and purchase, and include the large painting The Introduction Into The House of Commons of Baron Lionel Nathan de Rothschild, on 26 July 1858 by Lord John Russell and Mr Abel Smith, by Henry Barraud, 1872 and A View of the Villa Acton-Pignatelli, Riviera di Chiaiai, Naples, by Carl Wilhelm Götzloff. Many of these works of art are still displayed at New Court.
Further information about these works of art will be found listed under the Guide section to which they relate.
Note: there is no general public access to works on display.
