The Pregny Photograph Collection

'The Pregny Photograph Collection' is a large collection of over 600 photographs transferred to the Archive from the Château de Pregny, Geneva. The collection, was originally stored loose in boxes at Pregny and has now been arranged into nine modern archival volumes.

The majority of the images are of the branch of the family descended from Baron Edmond (1845-1934) and Adelheid, Baroness Edmond de Rothschild (1853-1935), (there are many images of Edmond and Adelheid and their children) and include Rothschild family members and their friends and acquaintances, and images of subjects including Alpine scenes; shooting parties; the Caribbean; yachts; Pregny (exterior views of the Château); Japanese garden; Middle East scenes; winter sports; pets.
