This book is a list of the holdings of the estate and a description of the type of land held. The information is arranged by tenant name, and there is an index of the tenants within the volume. The name list also forms a summary of the extent of the holding of each tenant, such as grass, arable, homestead, etc., and the individual entries show the field numbers involved.

This series begins in the year of Lionel's death, and one of the earliest entries records the value of the estate on division (£346,850) and its original cost (£31,129). Disbursements on the estate, especially on Southcourt Stud, Ascott stables and kennels, are recorded, and a second section records rental income.

Receipted Accounts, Ascott Estate, 1905-1909

The majority of the receipts in this series relate to accounts with nurserymen and seedsmen, but there are detailed accounts of repairs to properties on the estate as well as general household accounts with tradesmen in the Leighton Buzzard area.
